As a transparent nutrition company, we are passionate about healthy living, which, of course, includes healthy eating. We are not here to sell you on a particular diet or style of eating, as every body is so different. Certain diets might work better for you than others, and that’s totally okay and something you’ll have to experiment with on your own. However, one thing we will preach to everyone is to eat “real” food, which is why we tend to gravitate toward the paleo lifestyle.

In today’s blog, we are highlighting five paleo bloggers that we love, plus sharing one of our favorite recipes from their collection. And to all you gluten lovers out there, don’t knock ‘em ‘til you try ‘em because these recipes are so. damn. good.

Break the fast.

Let’s start with our girl Juli Bauer Roth. Juli is a lifestyle blogger who is passionate about food, CrossFit and paleo cooking. We love her, and not just because she’s a fellow Colorado native (although that helps😉) but also because of her zero-effs-given approach to cooking. She’s not interested in having the perfect diet; this girl just wants to eat well and enjoy life, and that is something we can get behind. Not to mention, she has an incredible array of recipes that will keep you fed forever.

We’re highlighting a recipe that was inspired by one of our favorite Denver establishments, Whole Sol. Juli’s take on Whole Sol’s PB&J Smoothie Bowl is perfectly sweet and refreshing for hot summer mornings, and sure to get you out of bed.

Snack time

Mary Shenouda, aka The Paleo Chef, lives by a motto that resonates deep with us here at REBL Jane: “Eat Clean. Play Often. Crush Life.”

Mary adopted the paleo diet after years and years of pain and frustration while trying to get to the bottom of her ailments. She found that sticking to quality meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits, tubers and seeds was her answer, and since then, has made a career out of it. Mary is a Private Chef & Consultant, a food blogger, the founder of Phat Fudge (Guys. You HAVE to try this stuff!.) and the LA Resident Chef at Nike. Mary is basically #REBLgoals and her recipes rule so we’re going to share one with you!

If you’re avoiding grains, this Grain-Free Bacon Granola will be your new go-to snack. It checks all the salty, sweet and satisfying boxes and is seriously out of this world.

Dinner is served!

Meet Diane Sanfilippo, Certified Nutrition Consultant and New York Times bestselling author of Practical Paleo and the 21-Day Sugar Detox, as well as the Creator of Balanced Bites frozen meals. Diane has dedicated her life to real food nutrition education and offers advice on entrepreneurship, clean beauty and more. She believes that through nutrition, mindset and self-confidence, you can live your best life and accomplish anything.

In 2010, Diana adopted the keto diet - a close cousin to the paleo diet - because she found it to be the most effective in managing her blood sugar and appetite. She knows what it’s like to navigate the challenges of the keto diet because she’s done it. She took her knowledge and years of experience and put it into her new book called Keto Quick Start. This book is full of simplified, manageable recipes that we love, and today we’re sharing one of our favorites: The Italian Hoagie Salad. It’s so good, we promise you won’t even miss the roll.

Stressed spelled backwards spells desserts

Last but not least we have grain-free cook, mom, wife, and the author and photographer of the New York Times Best Selling cookbook Against all Grain, Danielle Walker. Danielle is a powerhouse. She’s beating an autoimmune disease through diet and lifestyle and inspiring us all to give a damn about what we put in our bodies. We’re obsessed with her blog which covers everything from motherhood to health to friendship. And while the majority of Danielle’s recipes can be found in her cookbooks or via email, she also has a bunch of killer gluten-free, dairy-free and paleo recipes on her blog.  Recently, Danielle shared her healthier take on the classic Peach Cobbler. Danielle swaps flour, butter and sugar for wholesome ingredients like coconut flour, coconut oil and honey to make this dreamy dessert. This recipe is a fan favorite that will satisfy your sweet tooth, and we certainly won’t judge if you serve yourself a slice for breakfast to go with your coffee, because that’s what we did!
